The set is compatible with the walkie talkie set that i already had. These ones have more channels though, and i had to turn off the code on my older ones. These also have a code setting, but you need to program them to access the setting. I only received one ear piece and one carrying cord, but two chargers. Maybe i had to select a different package to get two of each. But works fine. The sound is crystal clear compared to my old ones.
