This tester works very well in Temperature (just at 0.1). ° C).
The salt measurements have been compared to the salt concentration of the pool (50 kg for 18 m³) and we indeed obtain 29% or 2950 ppm, which is very accurate.
On the other hand, the values indicated upon unpacking were very off for the pH.
I don’t think there was any calibration at the factory.
It was therefore necessary to perform a calibration with the 3 sachets delivered with the tester.
After this very simple operation, the pH seems accurate and repeatable at least to within 0.10 points.

Excellent meter construction. I’m not sure about the calibration because I tried comparing with other meters that I calibrated last month, and the measurements didn’t match. . . I did a test calibration with the solution I saved from the last calibration of the yellow meters in the photo, and finally it balanced the measurements with the yellow parameter in better conditions. It obviously comes without a battery (customs issues), but I already had them here for proper use. The measurements are precise and do not fluctuate. I will only use them for pH, temperature, and TDS. Just to be sure, I will do a new calibration with the buffer that comes with the kit for greater reliability. Happy with the purchase, I recommend it to everyone! Ah, 12 days here in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro).

This is a great product, considering a friend paid $160 for the same device , okay maybe not in colour but as for performance this one even has back light so alot easier to read in poor light ,so yes get one it’s worth it

I would recommend. It seems to be quite correct. Although i would calibrate before first use, it says it’s factory calibrated. Comparison with a professional ph meter at work gave a 0.5 difference. After calibrating, i did several tests which it all succeeded. Sidenote: it didn’t recognize the 9.18 buffer at first. Only the 2 others. I had to take batteries out, started the calibration with 9.18 buffer first, 6.68 and 4.01 as last. Does well now.
