Perfect for its output in RF = over 10 watts, to carry in the car. I also bought a battery eliminator, with 3A or more. It takes up little space and with an external antenna, in my case lambda 5/8, it has nothing to envy of equipment with higher measurements and double the power. For a Radio Amateur, it’s not a problem to program repeaters and simplex frequencies via Chirp.
