It arrived in a slightly deformed box, but the device itself is intact. Batteries are not included in the set. I inserted two NiMh rechargeable batteries into it and it works well with them. I tested this device to see if it detects the smoke from burnt cardboard. It detects well and triggers an alarm above 130 ppm through loud beeping and flashing. I checked how it works via Wi-Fi. I paired it with my smartphone via the Tuya app, and the app quickly found this sensor. I checked it again on paper smoke. When the alarm was triggered, I also received such information on my smartphone. You can also set up SMS notifications in the app, but this is a paid service.

The sensor works perfectly after inserting 2 AA 1.5V batteries. Connecting it to the TUYA app for remote access also went smoothly. It’s definitely worth buying for your own safety, as carbon monoxide as an odorless gas is very dangerous. A good purchase at a reasonable price. I recommend it.
