I bought these gloves for riding a motorcycle, they really do keep you warm. I haven’t tried them at minus 40 as shown in the picture, but I bought them in size S and they fit me perfectly. So keep in mind that if you have a size you’re used to, you should take one size smaller if you want to hold something in your hand and be comfortable while riding the motorcycle and answering the phone. Everything is a bit tighter, but I like it that way more; it’s comfortable and nice to the touch. I haven’t tried it with the phone case yet, but I believe that because it really grips my hand properly, there won’t be any problem. I highly recommend it.
